Your European experience tour consists of three huge European cities and most definitely some of the greatest the continent has to offer. Each city you will visit is rich in history, architecture, culture and cuisine.

Istanbul, the central city in Turkey, is both exciting and fascinating, with a mixture of European and Asian culture wherever you look. Gorgeous Mosques, Churches and Monuments line the streets of this ever bustling and thriving city. Ancient and Modern meet at every corner and you will never be bored of walking the streets, exploring the sites or hustling in the many markets, Istanbul is a truly unique experience and most definitely one you will never forget.

How does one describe a visit to Rome, it is almost impossible. The sites are magical, almost unbelievable in their beauty and stature. The rich history and culture that is evident every step you take through this the magnificent city will keep you entertained and surprised every single step you take. Explore everything you can, take in every bit possible and make the city and your experiences your own.

Paris, the lover’s city! When you arrive in the gorgeous French capital, you will understand precisely why it has achieved this nickname. Romance is literally everywhere. The gorgeous cobbled streets, quaint boutiques and lovely restaurants are filled with people no matter what time of year you go. The rich history, arts and culture that can be seen and experienced in this great city rival the rest of the world and will leave you with a thirst for more. One could never get bored with this city, with something new and exciting whichever way you turn.

Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg three hours before your departure. Depart on your overnight flight to Istanbul.

Day 2

Arrive at Istanbul International Airport, where you shall be greeted by an English- speaking guide, who will then assist you with your transfer and help you check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore and spend as you wish.

Day 3

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Your day of touring shall start at Ankara Airport. From there you will be taken to the Museum of Anatolia Civilizations, which is located in a resorted bazaar. After your visit to the museum, you will continue onto the Mausoleum of Ataturk, where lunch will be served in Ankara, before departing for Cappadocia via the Salt Lake. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel after which you will depart from the hotel and visit the Devdent Valley. Afterwards, you will drive through to Pasabagi (a monk village). Your afternoon will be spent visiting the open-air museum in Goreme and a visit to Kaymakli then you will have time for some shopping for the well-known merits of the sea before returning to your hotel for the evening.

Day 5

After breakfast you will be transferred to Istanbul International Airport where you shall catch your connecting flight to Rome, Italy. When you arrive in Rome, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you shall check-in and spend the evening as you please.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel after which you will be collected for a day of sightseeing which will begin at the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel where you will also visit the famous St Peters Cathedral and Basilica. The rest of your day will be spent around Rome where you will visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

If you wish to see more of this incredible city, you can join our optional Roman Highlights tour which includes the Spanish Steps. Trevi Fountain and the square of Medieval Rome. After this fun-filled and exciting day dinner will be served at your hotel (At Your Own Cost).

Day 7

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Florence via Ferrara. In Ferrara, you will visit the imposing Ests Castle to the Marble Cathedral before continuing onto across the wooded Apennine Mountains into Tuscany en route to Florence. Lunch will be served in traditional Tuscan style at Casa Toscana Restaurant where after you will have the opportunity to explore your surroundings and do some shopping. Overnight at your hotel in Florence.

Day 8

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the central station where you shall catch the Eurostar to France.

Once you have arrived you will be transferred to your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to spend as you please.

Day 9

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station where you shall board the high-speed TGV train to Paris, where you shall meet your local guide for an exciting day of touring. You will be taken up the Eiffel tower. You can take an optional drive through the city overnight.

Day 10

Breakfast will be served at your hotel, after which you are free to explore the glorious city of Paris. Your local guide will take you to all the famous sights including the Opera House, Arc DE Triomphe, Champs Elysees with more optional extras like visiting the Louvre, the Baroque Palace and the gardens of Versailles is available.

Your evening can be spent taking in a show at the extravagant Moulin Rouge, or you can choose to spend it at your leisure.

Day 11

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transported to the Main station where you will catch the Eurostar to Munich, Germany. When you arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel where after the rest of your day is yours.

Day 12

After breakfast, enjoy a day of sightseeing at your own pace where you can discover all the wonders that Munich has to offer. An orientation tour (At Your Own Expense), where you will visit some of the city’s landmarks including the Olympic stadium, Ludwigstrasse and Marieplaz. The rest of the day can be spent exploring, where after you will be transferred back to your hotel for the evening.

Day 13

After breakfast at the hotel, you will head south to the quaint village of Oberammerga. Stop off and marvel at King Ludwig’s Castle of Neuschwanstein after which lunch will be served. You will drive along the Bavarian praline mountain range and into the hills and lakes of the Black Forest as you make your way back to the city. Transfer to your hotel for your last night.

Day 14

Breakfast will be served at your hotel, after which you will be transferred to the airport where you will catch your connecting flight to Frankfurt and then your flight home to O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.

Day 15

Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
